A Country In Between
Written for performance, the two pieces that make up the chapbook A Country In Between celebrate gender diversity in literature and history, with stories of the “master mistress” of Shakespeare’s passion and Joan of Arc, gender rebel.
Blackberries
In 2017, working closely with librarian Karen Hudson, I coordinated a project that produced a chapbook bringing together poetry from featured presenters and open mic poets from the Salt Spring Library Poetry Open Mic.
Communities in Resistance and the Art of Solidarity
In 2014 I was one of the organizers of a beautiful arts project honouring communities impacted by and resisting Canadian mining projects.
Community mapping
Working with local artists, I did community engagement, cartography, and design for a set of neighbourhood maps in Victoria.
Saltfest!
In 2019 I organized and hosted this mini-festival of the performing arts on Salt Spring Island.
The Trois-Rivières Tales
I premiered this solo mock epic in verse at the Victoria Fringe Festival in 2014 then reprised it in Vancouver and Salt Spring Island in 2017.
